Lazy days
Art, Life, WIP March 9th, 2007On lazy days I like to wear baggy clothes and not put my contacts in, grab my ipod and my sketchbook, and just zone out and draw. Lately I’ve been working on a picture of an old man, Colm, from a photo by Noah Grey. Good practice for wrinkles and smile lines. And beards; hair is evil.

That looks amazing!
Yes, drawing hair is typically not very easy, depending on the hair.

Wow Skye, this picture of you and your sketch is so calming. And the drawing is coming along very well. Damn you iPod owner!!

I really like that image; it makes me want to do something similar, but I can’t draw. Instead, I’d be writing. =) I’d probably have some hot chocolate near me, too. Hehe.
That sketch looks wonderful. It reminds me of some excellent pieces I used to see in my Drawing class. Yeah, I actually took a drawing class even though I can’t draw, but I wanted to give it a shot.
