Art, Effie, WIP August 16th, 2007
Per Drawing Project Time…
9 hours. Not good enough for SF. Scanned each section individually and pasted them all together since the original was a 16×20 page and bigger than my scanner. Each section was roughly 5×8, I think. I go sleep now. Been drawing literally all day and I’m not happy with the outcome at all.

Wow. You set yourself a standard for whether to put on SF or not? How did you just sit there for 9 hours drawing though? That’s scary…
I especially like the middle left and bottom right. They look great!
Response: I dont set a standard but Im not as happy with the pictures individually like I usually am. I just hurried it way too much but I had to get it done for Sat. I *might* post them as a whole but definitely not separately as planned.

I couldn’t do that, drawing continuously or a whole day (with breaks). Even then, they aren’t bad Skye.. you did a good job, especially for the time period you had! It would be interesting to see how they all look together in the original setup you had planned, if it’s possible.

Don’t pound yourself too hard, Skye! The artwork looks wonderful, especially since you did it without rest (definitely tiring) and in that particular time frame. I can’t draw without taking at least a five minute break to rest my eyes or hands… However, they did turn out great! I especially like the little girl in the hat - at the top right corner - so cute! Is that your little cousin?

*hand you a cup of coffee* or *a pillow instead?* The drawing looks great. I think 9 hours for this is fair enough, but I’m sure I can’t draw that continuously unless with strong inspiration, lol.
