In the past few days I’ve been looking to find out more about what I’ll need to do for my Elementary Education major. At the end of this semester, I’ll have enough credits to be classified as a Junior.

So, in the class I’m taking (my first one on teaching), Applied Learning Theory, I asked some of the others if they knew the details since they were talking about other classes and seemed to already know / already into it. One guy let me copy his list of classes required and one of the girls explained to me the first exam listed. She said that you have to take it before entering into the program, and then after the test you get an advisor and they explain more of the details / help you pick out what classes are best for you.

So, I look up this test on our school website. According to the site, you have to take the test to be admitted into the program (as she said), but contact your program advisor (which you can’t get until you are in the program) for more information on the test. ?

Then, I read on, and find that I also have to take a Florida mandatory test called the CLAST. It gives the passing scores but not what the scores are out of. After digging away on Google, I find out. It’s basically a 73% passing on three of the subtests but I still can’t find out about the essay. Passing is a 6. 6 out of what?

Then, I find (on the school website) a list of required classes. However, these add on many classes to what the paper the guy gave me said. This is supposed to be a two year thing but all the classes required make it more like three. So, I’m basically looking ahead into the future at complete overload:
