Photography
Photography January 15th, 2008Is it possible for this kind of thing to run in your blood? My mom did photography and so does my dad. Now I’m starting to get hooked.
I’ve been taking pictures on my own for a year or so now but now that I’ve been learning more about editing photos in Photoshop, I’ve progressed to taking better pictures.
I did a photoshoot of my cousin while I went up to visit my Gramma. I loved it so much that I called Arden to ask her about how she got into photography and what I needed to do to find out if I wanted to get into it more as a photographer for hire. She said to practice on friends, take lots of pictures, and that way if I were to be hired, I’d have experience with many different things.
Tomorrow I’m going to be photo-ing Josh, his dad, and their two cats. The ones of my cousin were more conceptual but they want more studio-like pictures, though I’ll probably stick in some outside ones too.
But I can’t only have them. So, if any of you people live in the Palm Beach area, want your picture taken for free*, and are willing to work with me, either leave me a comment or email me at skyefairy at gmail dot com.
*I will take the photos and do the image editing for free. I’ll email you the finished photos for free. If you want prints, you have to pay the cost (I go through KodakGallery.com) but I won’t add anything extra to their charge. I also retain all rights to the photos (like posting them on my sites for portfolio reasons, etc.), though I won’t do anything with them for profit.

I don’t know, but maybe? My brother’s sudden interest in photography came from no one in direct relation to him… hmm, I still don’t know what made him start. Later on we learnt that my uncle used to be an avid photographer, but that can hardly count.
I’m glad you’ve taken an interest, though. Good luck photo-ing them, hopefully you’ll find those volunteers to take photos of. =)

Dude. I was expecting MySpacesque shots until I visited your photo gallery — Then I was blown away! It looks like you’re a professional photographer, no kiddin’.
Although it would look even more professional if you kept them as is, totally natural, and didn’t PhotoShop ‘em out. :3; Just my opinion though, they’re gorgeous either way!
I’ve been into photography for years now … I have a whole section full of ‘Scenic Photographs’ on my site, actually … But I don’t think I’m as good as you. T_T

They are very nice.
I like taking photographs too!
But I’ve never used subjects because I don’t like the whole “putting people’s faces online.” So I take still pictures.
I like the black-and-white one you features. It looks so cute. And she’s such a good model too! Her expressions are very nice.
