My Bucket List
Life, Michael October 22nd, 2008Michael asked me out of the blue earlier today if I had a Bucket List. I knew the term (a list of things you would like to do before you die), but I had never really planned one out. Off the top of my head I told him to be happily married and to have children. But, seeing that he posted his own bucket list, I felt I should be a copy-cat and write mine. So, here goes…
- Be happily married. One thing I’ve learned in my life is that family is the most important thing to me and that I need to cherish those important to me. However, I’ve also learned that I shouldn’t hold onto someone that doesn’t treat me right just because I feel the need to have someone. So many relationships don’t work nowadays so, while this might sound simple and easy, I feel it really is a worthwhile addition to my list.
- Raise children. Since I hit puberty, I’ve been craving children. Now that I’ve gotten older, I’m more patient about it; I don’t need them now. But I would definitely hope to have them someday, learn from them, teach them, watch them grow… And be to them what my mom was to me.
- Speak ten languages fluently. Might as well attempt the childhood dream.
- Travel. I want to see the world, experience cultures, etc. Perhaps those ten languages will come in handy?
- Complete a story. Preferably To Dangle Upside Down. I’ve been attempting this since 8th grade…
- Publish a story. All dependent on the previous. This is not to say that this is the goal of my story; I just think it’d be cool!
- Be famous or noted enough to have my own Wikipedia page. Yes, I must have one based on pride. XP
- Continue drawing, writing, singing, and coding. I never wanna stop!
- Help Michael accomplish his Bucket List. He is so special and amazing; he deserves it. I wanna do everything I can to help him be happy and succeed. (And if that includes fulfilling his #7, so be it.)

You won’t be able to do all of these alone, especially #s 1 and 2. Let me know if I can do anything to help.

Okay, people: note the “happily” in “Be HAPPILY married”. Being married is easy; it’s when you decide to be happily married that it goes a lil’ bit…eek.
I hope you get them done! For some odd reason, I’m pretty sure that 1 and 2 will be done first.
