I made a new blog, Palabras de la Hada, to practice my Spanish. I’ll try to type in it as much as I can to practice and get better. It’s really hard to say what I want to because I don’t have the words yet. That’s why I made it… *sigh*
Maybe some posts about my day; I can’t get much more complicated than that yet. Maybe some song lyrics; translate them for practice. Hmm.
So if you speak Spanish and want to help correct me, por favor ayuda!
It used to be a dream of mine to speak every language in the world fluently. I had a list of languages and the order I wanted to master them. Spanish, Irish Gaelic, French, German, Russian, Japanese… but then I actually started taking Spanish. And I realized that even if I try really hard, it is really hard to master. Sure, I can say many (basic) things if I talk slow and think hard but I can’t get across many things when I’m having a conversation with an actual Spanish person.
Pero yo quiero hablar muchas linguas.
But I want to speak many languages.
To my friend reading this that speaks many languages (you know who you are), you’re lucky. You grew up in Europe and for some reason people there pick up languages easier. Probably from traveling to multiple places and having them so close.

Ugh.
I have an exam in Spanish tomorrow. I really should be sleeping right now. But I had a nap today while I was studying… so now I’m not sleepy.
Hmm. Maybe if I practice my Spanish, I’ll get tired again.

Yo quiero que aprend– *thinks* Imperfect tense… aprendi’a espan~ol. Yo necesito dormir pero no quiero dormir. Yo tengo un pequen~o perro quien es mui (cute). El duerme ahora. Pero yo no (to be able to) dormir.
