Last year, NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) kicked me in the metaphorical pants and I wrote 5 chapters of my story in one week (then proceeded to stop), whereas before it had taken me months to write 2 chapters.

In the last year since then, I’ve written 4 more chapters.

See, I NaNoWriMo differently than the usual crowd. I work on the same story I always work on. I write for content, not just whatever comes to mind (my usual process). It just gives me the motivation to sit and write more often than usual. And that’s priceless.

So, this November, here’s to at least 5 more chapters. Anyone wanna join me?

The ones of you that I have encountered are idiots. That’s not to say that all of you are, just the ones I have encountered.

Why, you ask? Because you do not listen when I order.

Medium coffee, half full. The rest filled with whole milk.

No, I don’t want the milk steamed. Yes, I want it cold. If I wanted it steamed I would have ordered a cafe au lait or, as you call it, a misto. No, I don’t want to pour the hot, sour milk in from the pitchers you have set out. You can pour cold, fresh milk from the jugs you have in the fridge behind the counter.
